A Legacy on the Bayou

Our Journey

From Bayou Roots to a Beloved Destination

From a quiet stretch of bayou to a beloved Louisiana destination.

1985
The Beginning
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. The Boudreaux family first discovered this pristine stretch of bayou while on a weekend fishing trip. Captivated by the towering cypress trees and abundant wildlife, they knew they had found something special. Within months, the family had acquired the land and begun clearing paths to the water's edge, dreaming of a place where others could experience the magic of the Louisiana bayou.

First Cabins Built
After years of hosting friends and family in tents along the bank, the Boudreaux family built the first three cabins from reclaimed cypress wood. Each cabin was raised on stilts in the traditional Cajun fashion, offering stunning views of the water. Duis aute irure dolor in reprehenderit in voluptate velit esse cillum dolore. Word spread quickly through the parish, and soon visitors from across the state were calling to reserve a weekend stay.

Marina Expansion
The growing demand from anglers prompted a major expansion: a full-service marina with 24 boat slips, a covered fish cleaning station, and a bait shop stocked with everything a fisherman could need. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, the new floating docks were engineered to withstand hurricane-force winds, ensuring the marina would serve generations to come. The Rodeo Begins
What started as a friendly competition among a dozen regulars quickly became the Cajun Classic Fishing Rodeo, drawing over 200 anglers each June. The inaugural event featured categories for redfish, speckled trout, and flounder, with prizes donated by local businesses. The rodeo became a beloved tradition, complete with live zydeco music and a community fish fry.

Modern Era
A top-to-bottom renovation brought modern amenities while preserving the rustic charm guests had come to love. New climate-controlled cabins, a state-of-the-art online booking system, and upgraded marina facilities now welcome visitors from across the country. The Boudreaux family's vision of sharing the bayou with the world has never been more alive.
Our Legacy

A Family Tradition

The bayou doesn't just provide fish — it provides a way of life.
Claude Boudreaux, Founder

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. For nearly four decades, the Boudreaux family has upheld the traditions of Cajun hospitality: generous portions, genuine kindness, and a deep respect for the land and water that sustain us all. Every guest who walks through our gates becomes part of the family, and every sunset over the bayou is a reminder of why we do what we do.
